Technology","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_3_description_4":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"日本では昭和30～40年代－高度経済成長期に著しい環境破壊が発生した。東京近郊の水辺（河川・湖沼・運河・海沿岸など）は流出ゴミや油・洗剤の泡等により悪臭を放ち、魚介類が生息しない腐敗水の巨大な溜まり場と化した。その時代から数十年の歳月を経て都市の水質は改善し、かつて水底に堆積したヘドロは現在も残存しているが、ヘドロ中の有害化学物質濃度は多くの水辺で減衰している。これは非常に長い時間を経て化学物質が自然分解され、更に微生物により資化分解されたことに基因する。筆者らは東京近郊のかつての汚染水圏を探索して、自然繁殖している芳香族炭化水素(AHs)を資化分解する微生物を単離・解析してライブラリを作製した。\n本ライブラリにはAHsの中で一員環（ベンゼン）、三員環（フェナントレン）、四員環（ピレン、クリセン、ベンゾ[a]アントラセン）、五員環（ベンゾ[a]ピレン、ジベンゾ[a, h]アントラセン、ベンゾ[b]フルオランテン）、六員環（ベンゾ[g, h, i]ペリレン）などの資化分解細菌を保管した。これらの菌株は種多様性に富み、かつ同一菌株がAHs複数種の資化分解能を保持していた。特にヒトに強い発癌性が報告されているベンゾ[a]ピレンの分解能が高い新奇細菌種を単離した。本ライブラリを利活用することで、生態系を撹乱しないバイオレメディエーションへの応用が期待される。
