The effects of DSW were examined from germination through to the early stages of radish seedling growth. Results showed that a 5% (v/v) solution of DSW indicated the highest performance of vegetable growth. In comparison with a 5% solution of surface seawater (SSW), the 5% DSW solution exhibited a significant effect in terms of radish seedling growth. Furthermore, the size of shoot and leaf of radish seedling grew up rapidly in the experimental plot of 5% DSW after it was moved to a bright space.
