been made for the improvement of road freight transport in Europe including the trials
with manned trucks to follow. In this study, we conducted interview surveys on truck
platooning with policymakers, research institutes, truck manufacturers, and logistics companies
in Europe and summarized the trend of research and development, and feasibility of the trials of truck platooning. We also summarized some suggestions for policymakers related to the implementations of truck platooning in Japan.},
